We have selected five specific themes;

  • Entrepreneurship and Business : To help our members improve their ability to succeed at creating meaningful work in a dynamic workplace.
  • Energy Efficiency and Community Power : To demonstrate how we can waste less and our communities can be more independent with reliable electric and thermal power generation.
  • Agricultural Development : Projects to demonstrate more sustainable and economic methods of food production in an ever changing world.
  • IT/IM, Digital and Transmedia : Understanding and using the tools at our disposal to facilitate, manage, protect and communicate information, entertainment and education.
  • Strategic Intent and Technology Assessment : Demonstrating how to build strategy that is based on future possibilities and understanding the implications of technological change.

These themes have been selected to decrease barriers to entry so that individuals and small groups can adopt, explore and adapt to produce social and economic value.
